Well if you earn your own living and not off the government then why not spend your money the way you want it? Who are you Terry and others who are with him, to judge people on how they spend they're money? Kepp your nose in your own business and deal with your own personal issues of not being able to afford to race....That's your deal. Others choose what they want and that is their own decision.
Personally I have other priorities before racing, but racing is my life in the summer time. I grew up with racing and it's in my blood....The bills get paid first and then i go out racing.....In 2005 i blew my motor and didn't have the money to repair it right away. I sat on the sidelines for a few weeks and then when i had the money i went back racing. In 2006 I was short on money and instead of going broke on racing, I paid the bills and handed my car over to my dad for a few weeks. I have my priorities straight but who cares if Joe Blow racer doesn't and chooses to race. He makes the money and it's his to do with how he pleases. Worry about yourself.
Oh and Dale Earnhardt Sr....Well he raced and went broke earlier in his career and lost his wife and his first son Kerry, because of racing. It was his choice to do so. It was his passion and his dream. Look where it got him in the long run. Never quit, never give up on your dreams, always follow your heart because one day your dreams can come true. Dale Earnhardt passed, and what does he have to show for himself? A hell of a lot....A legacy, fans, a business, money for his children...etc. Look what can happen. Not saying it will but Terry are you calling Dale Sr and idiot cause if so, who are you and what have you done like that to leave a legacy?
As far as doing something with your life, well me I am in College studying law. I will be making quite a bit of money when I am complete. I own my own house at 24 years old. I race, I pay outrageous insurance because of my age on 2 vehicles, my 6 year old son gets his neccessities and some extras.....So if i wanna race then I will race. Terry don't come to me with a legal question or for legal advice ever cause I will send you straight back out the door in which you came from. Get a life and mind your own business......
P.S....What do you know of bailiff's anyways......do a little research and maybe you just might learn a little something!
This post was not intended to bash anybody purposely....it was intended for somebody to maybe see the light from another point of view, because sometimes people have a one tracked mind and they don't care how other people se something....all they care about is that they are right and everybody else is wrong no matter what the argument may be about.
this out of the same mouth that wishes to wear pink.lol well said well written steve, now you can wear pink to the banquet. the pros/benefits of racing far out way the cons in my life. right now we have three generations of hills involved in racing,that is three men who problay would not say two words to each other if not for racing,that feeling i get when my kid is in the zone in the car may not put $$$ in the bank account but they will be with me til my dying day.once again terry bite me.

Ok this is Yorkie using Scooters site, I just have to put in my 2 cents worth, and for those of you who will come back and say thats all I have to offer is 2 cents than allow me to save you the typing. To those who call racers idiots, maybe they should reconsider what they say, after all who is that comes to watch the racers every week, you know it takes a lot of knowledge to build a race car, you have to know what you are doing, it takes knowledge to set it up for every race, it takes knowledge to maintain it every week and knowledge to figure out how to get just a little more out of every engine. Maybe you should read the definition of idiot before you use it. " IDIOT - one who is foolish, or stupid, formerly a classification for mental retardation". Not to bash anyone with mental handicaps, but an idiot would not have the knowledge to do all this. You pay your money to come and watch us race so I guess there must be some higher level of intelligence to build, maintain and run these cars, so you can get your weekly enjoyment. Yes there are those that take things to the extreme and gamble everything and lose, but that can be said for anything thing in life that one might do, gambling, investing, driving to work everyday. Everything in life is ultimately a gamble everyday, racers live life to the fullest, and if that is not your cup of tea, then so be it, but don't call racers idiots, that just shows your mentallity level. To come on a racing site and call us idiots, well need I say anymore, did you really think you would get anyone here to agree with u?
