[glow=red,2,300]Notice to all promotors at South Buxton Raceway Saturday night They had a Special night show Southern Ontario Sprints ( 3 Heats, B main Heat, Final 20 Laps, Sport Stock 2 heats & Feature 20 Laps,Comp 4 2 Heats & Feature ( 15 Laps ), Modifieds 2 Heats & Feature 25 Laps & Pursuit races for the 3 classes Show started at 7 P.M. and ended at 10 ;25 P.M. this was with 2 red flags inthe S.O.S. feature. Hopefully Glen Styers took notice as he was there with his 2 sprint cars. Buxton played it smart they dropped one class Sat. night (Late Model ) Next sprint night July 14th they drop the Modifieds.Congrats South Buxton hopefully other tracks take notice it can be done.[/glow]
People were pissed though down there that they cut the Late models out linstead of the minis or the sportsman who really don't put on a good show . Another thing is that the only reason that they are done at that time is because of there curfew and if the go even a minute over its a hefty find for them. But I do have to congratulate them for getting them in early because they use to never get done till like midnight
A promoter can always cut a home series short, because then you can just make it up next week or two weeks from then when the scedule maybe isn't as crowded. A visiting series can't just "make it up!"
I agree totlay with u
