I must be naive. I don't understand why Barrie invited us. They didn't act like they really wanted us there or want us back in September.

Barrie had a full night planned and also ran a rain-date feature on top of the Mini Trucks coming up. It appears that the Mini Trucks were just an inconvience to them given how little racing time we were given compared to other races being run.

There was nothing special in their caution filled regular show that would interest me enough to drive the 2 and a half hours to see it, and the treatment we recieved from them would cause me to second guess whether a special event they might have listed on the program was worth the trip.

Is treatment like this in previous years one of the reason that there are fewer teams travelling? Why drive from Windsor or London or Owensound if we can be so easily dismissed. I would rather drive further to tracks that recognize that we are value added to their regular show as something their fans do not normally see and permit the visiting group to get in their event.

Then again, maybe I'm just naive.

Their history with visiting shows hasn't been great recently (the season ender last year is a prime example).

Yah we were at the season finale last year, same deal as this year and last spring, other divisions getting all the time in the world to dot heir stuff and visiting series paying for it. Last spring, they sent the 9hp cars out for practice, then pulled them into the infield pits while other divisions practiced. Those kids were roasting in the cars sitting on the pit lane while three other divisions ran practice.

No, I am referring to the Sunday show that ran, but minus the CVM's and I beleive the Legend cars which were both advertised.  There was a rainout on the Saturday which caused the Superlate feature to be moved to Sunday, but nothing else on that schedule should have changed.
