Touring Series

As everyone knows Barrie has had touring series at the track for a number of years. Over the years we have seen many many different series pass through. Now here's my question, if you could have one touring series back at the track for next year. What would you choose?

For me it would have to be the Delaware Trucks. The way they were on and off the track was incredible in it's self and was a pleasure working with them.

So who would you want back?

Sean, I also agree the Delly trucks were cool and quality folks to deal with. And if I'm not mistaken I believe there back on the Barrie sched for later on this season are they not?? That said, they arent really a "touring series" as the appearance they made at Barrie in 05 or 06 was really just more of a special "one off" race as the Mini trucks were also there that night and there was a big truck show at Burls that weekend..

Back to your question.. For me its OSCAAR, while that series has struggled at times with car counts this season I"m a bit partial cause grew up watching them throughout the mid 80s/early 90s..Also nice local connection with the 22 of Watson its top runner.. Super Lates at Barrie tends to be a bit boring to some cause there isnt a great deal of passing on a tight track, but the passes you do see are quality ones!! Also a pretty good chance of seeing a good fender bender with the Supers!! ;).. Give me 16 Supers Lates on the Barrie track anytime if most are quality cars!!

a 12 race series with the thunder car at all the different tracks in ontario and through in a couple dirt tracks just for a wild factor.
