I believe the drivers only vote for sportsman, best looking car and wrench. Or so that is how it's been the last 5 or so years. All the other awards are in somebody else's hands

Usually rookie is points based.

I know this is a rookie thread, but what's going on with Rick Walt? Why is he selling his car? Does he have another one? or is it for sale at years end?

Well it was a really impressive performance for some of the Thunder rookies in the twin 25s this past weekend. #84 Jerry Slavish was ultra impressive in getting his first feature win in the 2nd 25. He also had a 2nd in the first feature, and held right in there after being passed by Tremblay. Jerry has been getting noticeably quicker in recent weeks, but I hear that car might be for sale and hes getting out of racing for a couple years. Would be a great car for someone to jump into if true. I wonder if Sat night might change his thinking?? #3 Ken Denhollander continues to impress and had a 4th in the first 25 as well. The favorite for the award still has to be #15 Donny Brandon however, who had his 2nd top 5 in as many weeks and also won a heat. #35 Chance Isherwood had a bit of an off night for him but if he captures another feature win before the season runs out that could salt it for him. This to me is an award they should have the drivers voting for drivers to pick a winner, cause who better to know?? What do you guys think : Is Brandon still the favorite??
