If this is really true, I'd have to say I'm of the opposite feeling. This would be sad news to hear that John is returning to local track running and not travelling with the big series. You can see the effort and improvement with the team from last year to this year. Obviously the results aren't necessarily what they were hoping for but they are getting better.
That should make for great racing as i hear Walters is most likely to return also as the new owner of sunset is contemplating eliminating lates next year.
