Ok now that I'm done with that other topic onto the racing itself!!! LLM Mid Season won by #8 Dave Lewis, his first feature of 2008. 2nd was #69 Al Inglis, who actually almost got under Lewis out of 2 with somewhere around 5 to go, but couldnt make it work in the end. #19 Keith McLeod finished 3rd, to overtake the point lead solo by my calculations. #10 Gordie Shepherd and #28 Robin Jongen would round out the top 5. I saw this one as a very entertaining and exciting race, and it was run reasonably clean with 4 cautions(as I had it) for a 50 lapper. Heats went to Lewis, McLeod, Jongen, and #97 Rob Inglis. The win for Inglis was his 1st this year, so that was good to see. Thunders it was Chance Isherwood taking his first feature win in a Thunder, after assuming the lead from rookie #3 Ken Denhollander on lap 8 with a brilliant inside move in corner 3. 2nd was #97 Brad Holden, with 00 St. Onge, 22 Elliott, and 44 Doucette rounding out the fast five. I thought this was another excellent race in regards to racing action all over the track. Heats to St.Onge, 2 Tremblay, 9 Burrage, and 38 Melson. Pure Stocks it was #2 Ben Melenhorst again taking the win, after losing last Saturday's feature win in the tech shed. Ben, also won the Wed invitational so he's really on a roll right now. 2nd was 63 Crumbie, with 45 Surerus, 37 Sikes, and 24 Milligan rounding out the top 5. Heats to #92 Ralph Sikes x 2, Crumbie, and Melenhorst. Chargers it was #6 Kelly Wood taking her first ever win in a Stock car after several years in go karts!!! This was her 3rd night out, so very impressive for that young girl. 2nd was #56 Heighington ( a career best). #66 Chris Free continued his solid season with a 3rd, while 15 Burtoo, and 33 Doucette rounded out the top 5. Heats to Burtoo, Doucette, #98 Brent Stieler, and #2 Billy Melenhorst. From the cheap seats there's my 20 min rundown!!! Let the feeding frenzy begin or continue if you will!!!!LOL Next up my report for the website!!!! Stay tuned

I really thought the llm feature was one big train...was kinda disappointed....noone wanted to go high cause they would go backwards...like lil watson did which put him in the position to get looped by gordie...

There wasn't much grip on the high line Thayne I guess it was the humidity.

Ok Thayne so now its you I feel the need to respond to. Cut it out would ya I need some sleep!!!LOL But seriouslly, I saw the race a bit differently. I saw lots of good clean passing in the LLM!! Watching McLeod work his way from 13th to 3rd was awesome!!! And as much respect as I have lost for Keith this season, I love watching him come up from the back each week and regardless of what I think of his personality( which isnt much) hes a great driver and very exciting to watch. I also saw Jongen pass Baker with a clean inside move down he backstretch with less than 5 to go to capture 5th place. And these are just a few instances off the top of my head!! I do agree with you however that the outside groove didnt really appear to be working last night but again that's racing sometimes!!! Give Brandon credit for trying Inglis on the outside though after almost getting under him on sucessive laps out of corner 2. That kid has integrity, and he could of spun Al a few times that I saw, but rather he backed out and tried another approach. Too bad they missed the 10 turning him cause Brandon himself ran everyone tough and clean all evening long!!! Dont think it was intentional by Shepherd, but I could be wrong on that too but not usually Gordie's style. But again once the checkered falls there is no recourse in the racing game as we all know!!!

haha...yea i think brandoin gets it was just points racing..i was impressed at how he came through the pack to be honest...over last year he has improved SOOOO FREAKING MUCH....it is really impressive...oh...and....GO 19!!!!!

And there were a few passes dave but for like 25 laps it was pretty slow...coulda been aided in the fact i was going on 4 hrs sleep...haha...

and big dog i noticed the same thing so i would suspect in the llm it would be MAJORLY SLICK...
