the 53 blew up in the second 50

The drivers were running over one another and then it was single file and such a difference betweent he different cars....really it was getting to the rediculous point in the first 50 with some of the clowns out there...

Guys I know you are upset about getting pushed aside for OSS. But to beat up on them....

No maybe its not the best show out there, and $35 is a lot of money, but I think we need to support the drivers. What really did they do to you?

NASCAR has come around and ate up our Canadian series, CASCAR. Unfortunatly, its become a 3rd rate NASCAR series, right up there with NASCAR Mexico, or whatever its called. Just go to their website, its on some back page. Just try and find information on the drivers, or what the qualifying time at a given track was. I'm not knocking the drivers, or even the series, but it lost something Canadian in my mind. I really think the drivers deserve better coverage, wasn't that what NASCAR was supposed to bring to the table? Their races still air at 2am on Sunday, if there isn't a cricket match, and its a second thought on the website. The schedual is a secret, or only released when someone in Daytona has nothing better to do it seems.. Only reporting on them is on Race Time Radio, where it has always been.

So what are we left with for a touring Late Model series of our own? OSS. So how about we show them a little support?

Personally I have seen them at Mosport, no it wasn't Earnhart vs Gordon for 500 laps at Bristol, but it was a field of decent late models... It seemed there were a few more fans in the stands even, and thats a good thing for all of us.

No it wasn,t Earnheart vs. Gordon, it was more like MUT vs JEFF, it was down and out rediculous, but like I said it was worth every cent. BSW drivers ROCK.

Ross your remarks reguarding OSS you are right on support them. This is just another series of cars that in there day were #1 in Canada (CASCAR ) why people bash them I donot know. This is there 2nd year the first year they had car counts of 10-12 this year so far 16-20 and from what i heard last night 17 cars were in attendence. The first 50 from what is shown on their site was a wreckfest (6 cautions) and by the sounds of it some of the cars were torn up pretty good.Nobody has mentioned that all 17 cars started the 2nd fifty and that race went caution free and the 3rd fifty had only 3 cautions.Did these cars put on a show of 3 -fifty lap features yes.Are they faster than todays late models no but they still put a show on.Nobody has mention one of Ontarios best late model drivers Steve Robblee and his son Matt race in this series.Noticed that S.Robblee got DQ in the third 50 donot know why that will come out in days.Alot of people like to bash this group and as Ross said why bash the drivers they do what they like to do race. Will I follow this series yes this group is at least trying to get a touring series going where pavement race tracks seem to be afraid to set a series up with tracks(think Kawartha & Capital City are doing something) but as for tracks like Delaware,Flamboro,Sauble they are not.Personally as I have said before a series with these 3 tracks would do good for these tracks. And by the sounds of it the attendence was pretty good. One thing i do agree with posters $35.00 admission was pretty steep. It should have been maybe $20.00 max but that is just my opinion.
