We sat in the stands and watched both the Baker trailers pull out . I'm sure Dwayne can answer this himself without everyone assuming what happened . Is this just a one night suspension ? Are you returning to Barrie Speedway ? I figure everyone is just very tired since Dwayne raced at Kawartha Friday night and things will return to normal by next week . It's understandable with such a close points battle , anyone would have been upset .Now it's time to modify my post with what I saw : First off the #48 was going down low on turn 3 trying to take #10 Gord's position . But , he wasn't all the way up where Gord could see him . Gord cut down , not knowing he was there and spun out on contact . When Dwayne was also sent to the back , he went and pulled into the rear of Gord's car ( not cool , but a hot headed move ) ! He was then black flagged for that stunt and refused to leave the track . When the flag was thrown numerous times and Baker not acknowledging , the Official approached Baker's car and from my view point , the Official's hat flew with the help of Baker . This is what got him suspended . If this is exactly what happened , this would be considered the driver's fault . Any track will not have their Official's treated this way . Now does anyone care to respond ? This is just my perspective of a situation that could have been avoided . Personally , I would have liked to see the #48 compete in the feature race last night with his son .

Is Anyone out there tired of being treated like a Third class Citizen,,We are losing great drivers because of Bad calls!,,Or does anyone Give a Dam!!..JMO...
to me scooter it doesnt seem like the new owners give a damn they are waiting at the end of the night to count the money they made instead of dealing with the problems the drivers have at the end of the night oh well the way i look at it it will be thier loss not ours cuz there are other tracks in the area that would love to have the great drivers our track has.

Baker and Shepherd tangled, and Baker was sent to back for getting into him. He was pissed off. He ran into Shepherd while they were under caution. For this they were going to black flag him for the heat. He wouldn't leave the track after they gave it to him for a few laps. The starter finally got down and stopped him on the track, they exchanged words, then the next thing he's been parked for the night. I like Dwayne, think he's a great competitor and all, but his actions weren't justified. People are pissed off for bad calls that take place every night, but sometimes the drivers are pushing the limits to see what they can get away with as well. They're damned if they do and damned if they don't. If they didn't put him on the trailer for the night for what he was trying to get away with, you'd have 5 more pushing the envelope again next week to see what they could get away with. Sorry to see it happen, but I remember on this site for months everyone was talking about calls that weren't being made, and not enough black flags for things that were happening. Hoping this does not mean that the track has lost the 48 and the 18. Love to watch them race.
