First off congratulations on a well deserved win last night . I do believe back when Tommy raced it was the same deal . You guys all run hard , put on a great show for all us fans ( or we wouldn't be there either ) ! Many nights I use to hear the we didn't see anything deal last year . With all the dedication all you drivers give to this sport , you all need to be heard . I hope all your teams will continue racing where us fans can enjoy the side by side action .

Ok this is my take on this particular incident, although how I viewed it essentially means nothing and I realize that!!!LOL From what I saw, Dwayne got inside of Shepherd halfway down the backstretch and had the door and more heading into the apex of turns 3&4. I think the wrong call was made by sending the 48 to the rear.(And I dont care where the marks on the Shepherd ride are located as that proves nothing to me) Now this being said, in the 2nd of he twin 40's in June when Gordie and Keith got together in 1, I felt it was McLeod's fault by driving too hard and deep into that corner. Upon seeing the post race photos I then realized I didnt see it correctly, and Gordie chopped down on the 19 that time as well!!!  Just proves things arent always how they appear and race incidents can happen on the track very quickly. Sure hope this isnt becoming a pattern for the 10, but I dont think that's the case!!! These have been honest racing mistakes, and while the calls went wrong in my opinion, that has nothing to do with Gord. I severely doubt that Gordie went to the track owners and said " I want favorable calls or else I wont be your driving instructor" so whoever suggested that was the reason for the calls going the way they are is totally out to lunch!!! Gordie, or another other true racer would never want to win a championship by those means!! I think Baker's actions after the fact were totally uncalled for!!! Now Dwayne is considered a good friend by myself, and I would have no difficulty saying this to his face either. I do understand his fustrations, but he still handled it badly I feel!!! Now it did seem to me that Dan went down on the track not to explain to Dwayne the reasoning for calling it the way he did, but rather to chew him out!!! I think if Dan handled it differently, then Dwayne wouldnt of reacted the way he did!!! But as I said before nobody is going to be perfect with calls, as flagging is the toughest job at the track!!! I think Dan has performed very admirably in his new position, and he's under alot of pressure from the race director and others to see the races get run in a prompt and efficient manner!!!  I dont think the knocking off of Dan's hat was intentional by Dwayne either!!! I had a very good view of this, and while it was a heated discussion I saw Dwayne making hand motions to try and explain to Dan what happened to him on the track!!! Its unfortunate he made contact, but it is what it is and you cant lay a hand on ANY track official!! I hope both the 48 and 18 return to racing at Barrie as they are both a big part of the show!!! BUT if they dont the racing will still go on. This is just my own opinion, and I hope I havent offended anyone by trying to explain what I saw!!! I consider each and every one of the racers at Barrie a friend, and hope by posting this it might defuse a bad situation and get cooler heads to prevail!!!

This is a very good review of the facts of the LLM race at Barrie Saturday night . Very nicely put ! I also hope cool heads prevail and issues start being resolved at this track and the one to the south . It's in the best of interest to all racers , promoters and fans present and future . I feel that by the way fans are reacting we want racers and track owners to know just how much we all care about this sport . I know I look forward to my fix or racing each week , just as you all do .
