The gear rule is for all Thunders at KD. At the time we were 3150. The rule now is 3050 for crates. 3150 for builts. I guess the plasma cutter will have to get a work out this winter to get us down close to 3050. I like the crate. It still isn't the biggest motor at kd....but for the money at least I can run top 5 again and compete with way more expensive motors.

Hey Joe,iam sure both of us believe the tracks should be encouraging the 602 usage,and not putting it at a disadvantage.
At the Sunset's meeting a few weeks back,Mark Dilley said he was going to do some testing with the 602 and a built engine,i believe it was the 44 cars engine.Has anyone heard the outcome of that???iam sure that cant be classified information..lol
be interesting yes....just like to find out well in advance what the weight will be for one at all the tracks this year....
