Transmission, Clutches & Driveshaft:
1. Automatic transmissions only. Transmissions must be factory available for year,

2. Standard transmission may be used if engine size is 3.5 litres or less. In this
instance transmission, clutch and flywheel must be factory stock for
application, and scatter shield protection must be used.
3. Solid transmission mount may be used.
4. No after market valve bodies or manual valve bodies allowed.
5. Power-glide transmissions will be allowed. All cars with power-glide transmission
will carry a 50 lbs. penalty.
6. Torque converters must be stock. Must be a minimum of 11” diameter for 8
cylinder engines.

If you read Kawartha's gear rule closely, you will see the flaw!!!They say you cant be over 5.40 final, and if you run a glide, you must not have a gear no bigger then 2.73,with the 1.82 glide, well that only gives you 4.96,and you must weigh 50lbs heavier.
If you run the 350 or 200r,you must run a gear no bigger then 3.23,with the second gear of 1.52 in the 350 turbo, you have 4.91 final,or with the 200r you have 5.07 final.......all this is not even close to the final gear rule of 5.40...hmmmmm

Psst, ford boy!!How do you know what the 3.08 gear turns???lol Okay, whens the last time you seen any racetrack with a gear rule, verify the trans ratio,we all know there are more, then the 2 comman ones..

2nd last night broke my 273 in practice. Ran the 308 rest of the night...didn't like that much rpm with the 602. Also didn't like all the extra engine brake. Rolled better through the corner the next week with a new set of 273.
2008 season Mosport DQed  a thunder for the wrong gear/ other that that never seen gear rule enforced anywhere!
