Barrie should ban all 16 valve cars from their invi's now then....this is absolutely rediculous...and i hope Glen (who i used to ahve respect for) gets ridiculed for this!

Well I cant really say this supirses me as Glenn ' The Mental Midget" Lloyd will never be known for his decision making ability. The last Thurs show they only had 14 thunders anyways, and 5 of those were Barrie cars ( 6 if you include Baker who didnt start). I dont think he will get that many cars from other tracks this time around either, as there were no Mosport, Varney, or Sauble Thunders there last time!! I think he may get a couple more of his own cars out this time but I think the most I'd be expecting is maybe 4 or 5 out of towners as being on a Thurs with a 7pm start it will be hard for most of those guys to haul there. And half the 118 people that were there the last time were Barrie fans so I think it will hurt attendance as well, and what kind of show is it when your racing in front of less than 100 people??LOL I dont think I would of went anyways but wont be goin for sure now to watch the Sunset junkers race!! The Barrie cars kicked butt so bad last time I totally think thats why there not allowing them to race. Barrie cars that started finished 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 7th!!! And the only car that was able to keep up was the 51 of Mark Adams who finished 3rd!!! To me this reflects badly on not only Glenn but the Sunset Thunder guys as well, who just proved they arent real racers!!!

blkflagagain I agree totally, a Thurs. night invitational just makes no sense at all to me. As a racer you should be able to run at any track and do well. I have heard Sunset guys say that Barrie is too tight to race at. Has anyone ever heard a Cup driver or OSCAAR dirver say these things about the tracks they run at they make adjustments and do well at all the tracks it all just comes down to luck in the end it seems. Barrie cars race at other tracks and we have all had a blast doing it and run well. Barrie seems to grow very good drivers.

I agree that Glenn is making a mistake.  What he should do is review the rules for each track, and then if there are differences, establish a weight penalty to make is more even.  However, blkflagagain, I challenge you to go for 1 week of posting without making a personal attack on someone.  Your nicknames like "mental midget" and "the dump on the hump" take a lot of credibility away from what you have to say.
