I am glad that you think its a good idea. I think you should talk to Yorkie...IT was a suggestion by them a while ago but with the both of you at the helm I am sure it will be a success. A few things have been pointed out to me and it may be better if I take a backseat on this one. Though if you need my advice I am there to help.
I was pretty happy to see some new guys running in the top 10 for sure...
Marty Monette had a great win, Jason Elliott was on his game and had a superb run in the feature... Don Brandon is proving to be a solid pick for Rookie... Ed Tremblay ran great in the car borrowed from Dave Doucette, and Frank Davey just didn't have enough time, but he was coming fast. There was some great racing for the mid-season event.
I don't know what is happening in the P/S, but it was disappointing. I was sitting with some friends that I haven't seen for about 15 years and I had to explain that that was not normal for Barrie Speedway...
Just an interesting little side note to all of this. I notice the LLM are off at both Mosport and Pete this coming Sat. Sure would be nice if a few would come up to give Barrie a try. Could you imagine the Barrie LLM field with the likes of Conelly, Brown, and Kimmerly involved??? That would be quite the show!!!!Although I'd imagine the latter two might just run KD on Friday night, and Dwight in the modified at Mosport on Sat. Sure would be great to see Amanda come run although that is probably highly unlikely. I think you could see the #54 of Randy Bull return after his week 2 appearance at Barrie. I thought he ran pretty well myself for first time on the track... Just food for thought!!! Would of been a great weekend to have planned a LLM invitational though from the looks of it!!!!LOL
To respond to blackflaggin. Amanda will be my spotter this weekend at flammy. She only has a few nights off this year, and when she does, I'm running my car. Its only fair. We take her car almost every weekend, so when she gets the odd night off, i'm running mine, and she's my spotter, so, thats that.......... ;D
I'm sure she'd like to go, but it's not an option.
