Ok is it not the race directors job to tell these new faces just what it is they are suppose to be looking for. We have someone on the back stretch now and he should be a little more active and a little more overseeing on what is going on. He has a different view from the front stretch and can see what they can't. Or at least I think that is what the idea is suppose to be......

yes YORKIE, from  my understanding the directors job  is to direct...from the  starters to the sweepers..i would assume the back strech official falls into that .mind u im  just a fan  sitting on the  wrong side of the fence .so i have  no real clue as to what goes on behind the scenes,or on the radios during the race..what i do see is alot of unhappy post on here,alot of caution laps and empty stand before the race is over

Its true Thunder 6 I sure wish you had a hornets nest in your shop,l said with regard to Dave----"Truth is in my humble opinion which part of "you are not welcome"(by the owners)of Barrie Speedway do you not get",obviously with the suspension flip flop they are trying to tell him something and it isn't as you put it "Dave is welcome by most of the drivers and fans, and if he was to leave Barrie forever then that would be a loss for Barrie Speedway," I am talking about the management the owners not you me the drivers or fans,when you take your blinkers off l will accept your apology for your totally undue criticism of my post.

Terry as anyone can see by what I wrote to you is I am not being insulting or threatening. Most of the posts I write on here are as a "user", not a moderator and if I am acting in my position as a moderator it will become clear to you as I will write in red print.

You are welcome to come to the site, enjoy the posting, and post if you so wish. As I explained to you I did not interfere with your post as I do not abuse my power here. I suggested that there are times that your opinion is not welcome, (because most of the time the intent of your posts are to create havoc) just as you are suggesting that I am wrong to think that the Speedway would want to have Dave Doucette back. You are entitled to your opinion and so am I.

Thunder6 I agree with your views 100% the persons responsible for those actions should be turned away at the gate this weekend. If this is not dealt with firmly and swiftly then these actions will only escalate in the future. No one has the right to assault anyone including spitting. Every person has the right to frequent that establishment without fear of being assaulted and the onus is on the track owners to take the appropriate actions to ensure that there are repercussions for such behaviours. JMO.

Ok as much as I still want to chime in on the goings on at the track I'll figure I'd take this back to racing. Man is Reynolds car really hooked up right now. Sure starting position has helped in his two wins starting pole for his June 14 win. But this week he passed some good cars to get to the front (Inglis and Quesnelle among others)and could do it on the inside or outside. So it appears The Gambler is back after a apparent semi retirement midway through last season. Thought Marty Monette ran really well in winning the Thunder feature, and just had a feeling it might not of been a familiar winner this past week. #22 Jason Elliott also had a great run in Thunders finishing a career best 4th, and rookie #15 Donnie Brandon finished up 6th, so also nice to see some different guys in the mix this year as both those guys have had ultra solid seasons too. Pure Stocks race was bad as mentioned, lets hope they get it together for next week and their entitled to a blip on the radar I guess, as most of the year the action in that division has been great. Nice to see young Chrissy Doucette get another feature win after having car troubles for the 2 races prior. Still think the comittee think is a good idea and I'll lend my services however I can!!! Lets face it , at this point cant hurt!!!!LOL
