So here's a thought, given that maybe just maybe the owners and the race director of BSW reads these threads. Maybe it's time for suggestions on how to improve things. Now I like the idea of a drivers committee to present issues to the track and hopefully resolve them. I know this was brought up last year but maybe this year we can actually get it off the ground. Right now we have a lot of unhappy drivers that just don't find racing fun this year at all. If drivers would like a committee to present problems then speak up. If we get enough on board we might be able to bring it to a realization. People fighting in the pits well if they are drivers, then suspension is in order. Crew or fans fighting in the pits get barred for the rest of the season. Rough driving on the track has to be black flagged, I'm not saying rubbing and bumping I am saying out right rough driving. Obviously it's happening cause too many of us are seeing it and it's time the track opened its eyes to it and do something about it. When this was happening last year we all spoke up on here and low and behold the black flag started coming out a little more often. People didn't like it at first but the point got across and a lot if not most of it stopped. Come people speak up and get the ideas for improvements out on here. Just a thought

just a thought but ,every official  is new to the position they are officiating.i think the pace car driver, and the people in the  tower scoring are the only people from  last season..

director..awsome resume,but new to directing i think ..
starter...2 guys  new..i have  no clue on their qualifications..
corner 1...new to his spot ,has clean up exsperience
corner 2... clean up last season ,moved to corner 2 (very important place)
corner 3...tons of race  qualifications , but the tower he is on  is new and  hard to see
corner 4...new to his spot ,was on corner 1 last season ..
clean up crew...all new faces ..i have  no idea..
wreckers...was atherly  now its graves ..

so in this fans opinion, with a  new group like that there is going to be problems..

Ok is it not the race directors job to tell these new faces just what it is they are suppose to be looking for. We have someone on the back stretch now and he should be a little more active and a little more overseeing on what is going on. He has a different view from the front stretch and can see what they can't. Or at least I think that is what the idea is suppose to be...

Thunder 6 you are supposed to be a level headed guy lt is not about you or me disliking or liking Doucette if some one calls you (the owner) every name under the sun except a white man why should you put up with it, its there bat and there ball and they can and will do what they want, they don't understand how racers get nor do they want to or should they have to,I was there when Duece started yappin and it was xxx rated it was mean and malicious and totally uncalled for, it rained for 2 weeks suspension and Dave was still in the points so now its 2 race nights  suspension GET IT ? Duecette is now the past champion its true. Also you have no right as a moderator to say l am not welcome.I am just stating the facts  Q.what happens on CRO if you insult some one verbally and threaten them ? your gone why should it be any different at Barrie Speedway. Its true.

Terry you are welcome to say whatever you want, however you seem to make comments and then disappear after stirring the pot. This is well known. You were suggesting that Dave Doucette was not welcome at BSW, and I am suggesting that Dave is welcome by most of the drivers and fans, and if he was to leave Barrie forever then that would be a loss for Barrie Speedway, certainly not a loss for Dave Doucette. No matter what Dave said, I am sure there are people who have said the same, or worse and got less for it. Dave is being made an example of, and whether or not this had to happen, it happened to happen to him. I spoke to Dave about it, and he indicated that he attempted to talk to several of the "right" people, and everyone ignored him. If you go to several people and they all ignore you, then you might get a little frustrated. I'm sure he is sorry about it, but at the same time he is taking his beats. Also the punishment was not clear, and has been changed since the decision was handed down. That isn't right. Now of course this is all based on my understanding which may or may not be complete. I am only looking for fair treatment for everyone.

Now as to the events of this weekend, I think that there should be suspensions. Physical altercations are not acceptable in any way, and when people are jumping out of their cars on to the race surface looking to get into it with someone else, or physically placing their hands on someone else, (this includes spitting, which in my books is even worse than cold cocking someone) then action needs to be taken by the track, whether or not they had knowledge of it. There is no time limit for unacceptable actions to be punished, and those teams that got involved in those actions should be turned away at the gate this week.

Now as for you Terry it is true I am a level headed guy, and if I wished to I could eliminate your posts as they are leading and generally offensive and meant to start things. However you are welcome to your opinion, and I allowed you to say what you wanted to, no matter that the intent was to get people upset so you could sit back and watch the battles erupt.

Once again this post is completely my opinion. I know people are going to disagree with me and that's fine. I also know some people will agree with what I say. Democracy is a wonderful thing that I thank the men and women who stand in harm's way every day for, a privilege both you and I enjoy.

This is all fine and dandy but because of some of these issues and other racing is really not fun anymore...and me and my dad said if it became not fun we need to make some changes...we will see what those changes are...

I know of others who feel the same way...fixing wrecked race cars all the time especially after a terrible call or getting wrecked is super frustrating...
