Jim showed what type of guy he was in my rookie year at BSW in 2002 when we ran Pure Stock together. We got together on the track and i had a tire go down and we didn't have any spares so he gladly gave us a tire so we could go back out and race, that was the type of guy he was.
Just this past week his former car owner Mike Langley purchased my dads Thundercar for Jim to drive in the 12' season. Jim was surprised with it earlier this week. He must have had that great big smile of his when he heard the news. I would have loved to see him go around the track again, but I know he will be racing in circles up in heaven.
Jim will be greatly missed. my thoughts are with his family.
You touched a lot of people Jim and the world is a better place from your life. Thoughts are with your family.
