we had a top 3 car but broke a damn alternator belt....that ended our run...

I was there but I am not sure that $22 a head can be viewed as cheap seats....wow all that dough for a round of heats and a feature. That would be 1/4 of a normal nights racing so you would think it would be 1/4 the price or at least $10.

It was a  good night, love the track, hated half hour wait for burger, very impressed at warm welcome Sunset drivers got from drivers and staff (thanx in part to convo's on CRO), this will go a long way towards future friendly competition between tracks.

I hope now that the first one is out of the way the next one will be better attended and maybe cheaper.

so how does that work for the payouts if they made everyone run together?

Ok,now besides the $22 for getting in(really 44 with the g/f).Now I love how cheap they are, FREE ALL YOU CAN EAT PIZZA......BUT you can only get a half serving at a time....what the hell why not the real serving it doesn't make sense to me instead I have to miss watching the racing to wait inline for the real serving. Now on the thought off food,I paid $9 and change for 2 pops and a french fry like WTF is that about wheres the affordable family fun, remind me to bring my own BBQ next time it might just be cheaper.

Next up for the Love of God please hire Spencer for the next 2 Wednesday nights cause the Rock 95 DJ/Colts announcer just doesn't do it.

Please find something more entertaining than using Spectator Racing Time Trials to fill the show, Its boring at Peterborough so it no different there.

Now besides that I enjoyed the racing, it was good to see Sunset cars do well with 3/4 heats going to Sunset cars and 2 finishing in the top 5 in the feature. $2000 to win it was quite the suprise to bad they couldn't spread the word sooner cause that had to be the biggest prize in the province.....the down fall is I did hear that 2nd place paid $350.

Beisdes that I hope they can improve for the second Wednesday as its nice to have racing during the week.

Steeve not totally sure but with the 1000 originally scheduled for the Charger and Pure Stocks they I think combined to make it a 2000 purse for the division as a whole when they combined it. So in essence I think Brandon might of took home about 400 for winning if I understood correctly!!! And ya Harold should of warned you to stop for a sub on the way up!!LOL I didnt wait that long for mine but I had a burger at about 5pm!!LOL And ya the 22 bucks a head for is for pit entry I assume?? That might be a little much!!! What was regular grandstand admission anyone know??? 15 bucks like most nights?? And I'm glad the Sunset cars felt like they were treated well, and thanks to this site and some people curbing their attitudes(including myself ) about the other track this brings maybe the possibility of racing between the two in the future including Thunder and LLM races as well. I didnt even have a slice of free pizza come to think of it!!LOL
