Pro 4 Rules. Who would wanna run this class next season?

Brandon I think if you want to go race tire you are not doing yourself a favor. Some of the other stuff MAYBE I could see. But unlimited cams on a basically stock engine, no way. You're going to get into custom grind cams, which are expensive, but I could probably point you in the direction of someone who would get a discount on bulk ordering... LOL!

What you're asking is to legalize all of the alleged illegal activities that have been happening this year.

its not just about going faster is allso about safer car more parts for them and better shows for the fans... im shure it would start out slow but we have to start some where!.... The frist guy that said "lets start racing 4 cyl" probaly got laghed at :-

Ok i took some suggestions here are some revised rules.

10. ENGINE
Must be stock for make, model. Maximum engine size is 2500cc. No rotary or multi-cam motors allowed. Maximum 3 valves per cylinder, Cam are maximum 420 Lift on all cars, Intake manifold may be port matched and polished. Exhaust manifold may be port matched or a header may be used.. Maximum overbore .040”. Engine mounts may be made solid. Engines without safety mounts must have a safety chain mounted from engine to frame in case an engine mount breaks.

11. EXHAUST
Must exit under floor and behind driver and exit out right or left side of car. Maximum 2 1/4” O.D. pipes. Single exhaust only. Mufflers are mandatory.

28. TRANSMISSION
Stock OEM automatic or manual transmission for that make. Transmissions must bolt in with stock mounts. Automatics may be modified. Standards may be mildly modified., lightweight flywheels may be used, but must use stock clutch.Standard transmissions must have 1/4” thick scatter-shield over the top 180 degrees of the bell housing for protection. No transmission coolers in driver’s compartment.

31. WEIGHT
Cars must not have more than 55% of total weight of car on left side wheels including driver.All cars must weigh engine size plus 100 lbs, 12 valve cars must weight engine size pluse 200lbs, including the driver. No topping up of fuel after race or prior to weighing. All ballast weights must be painted white, securely bolted on with minimum two bolts and the assigned car number on the weight. Barrie Speedway reserves the right to add any amount of lead to any location on any car deemed to be too fast in order to keep this class competitive and fun. This will be enforced only by the tech official.

Listen fellas I ahve herd aot of this, they cannot go faster than thunder cars, why stay in them? Simple the point is to get these things going as fast as TC's, we already go three and four wide, where the bigger cars dont and thats y they are fun to drive. Imagine them running 15.5-8 second laps?!?! That would be insane...people would love to watch this and as far as driving...i think it would be a crazy rush...way more fun than these cars are...we prolly couldnt fund this, so would stick with pure stock, btu it would be awesome to watch!
