What started out as soggy Saturday transformed into a super Sunday!

Many, many thanks to everyone involved in the Wahta Springs 300. All staff, contractors, crews and NCats Offcials showed why we all love our sport. Even soaking wet the Driver's and crews were smiling and patient.

A special thank you goes out to the Fans, that found the time to work around mother natures "curve ball".

More thank yous to Simcoe County for finding unscheduled Paramedics and ambulance to cover the date change and St. John Ambulance that had to do the same.

Many thanks to Shaws Catering for their great ability and adaptability for our catered meal and a huge thank you to SRG security for finding overnight guards for the NCaTS haulers and grounds.

Thank you to our ground crew, Tyrone, Mike and Derek that worked triple time to get the grounds ready after a whole summers rain came in 1/2 a day and Richard who volunteered to do the over night shift to get everything ready for Sunday.

Thank you to everyone that called wives, sisters and friends to cover shifts that others could not do.

Apologies to anyone finding a couple of tents (the last time we saw them, they were heading north and moving faster than Pete Shepherd!)

Thank you all so much. You are what makes this sport great. It's not just the track, it's not just the cars, it's not just the driver's, it's not just the crews, it's not just the officials, it's not just the fans. IT IS EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING WORKING TOGETHER THAT MAKES RACING A SPORT THAT GRABS YOU AND NEVER LETS YOU GO!

Like I said in another post. Only mother nature wants to turn right when we all want to turn left.

Thank you to all of the NCaTS teams for visiting Barrie Speedway and a big congratulations to Pete Shepherd and his crew! You all put on one heck of a show and we can't wait for next year (with better weather, of course). LOL
