Agreed... Word did get out a lil bit late as to just what the McColl/Stefco series would be all about.. Most Barrie guys that didnt show I'm sure had pretty valid reasons..
Say what you will about Dave Lewis but he went there originally just to watch, but when he seen Al was the only LLM represting Barrie he went home and got the car.. Now thats a classy gesture to help fill the field a bit more.. And good night for him.. I believe he ended up with around 500 bucks for 5th place I heard..
What are the car counts like for these series? We'd like to come check it out tonight but have never scene this series.
Thanks from a Card carrying member of sunsetfanboy! lmfao
Ah we don't mind the more "moderate" Sunsetfanboys... I hope you had a good time at our home track.
+1 on Dave Lewis... that was cool ;D
I think grubb got 5th and burrage got 6th? thats what chris mentioned to me.
Ok that sounds a bit more like the race I watched.. Chris and Grubb had quite the battle goin on for several laps if memory serves, and Chris got down inside of the 36 in 1 and almost completed the pass but the Grubb horsepower won out in the end.. I at least hope all of the visiting drivers, teams and fans were made to feel welcome and if thats the case the night was a winner..
Tough night for 1-2 in the LLM points heading in as both Sauble young guns Kamrath and Tremble finished well back.. With the nearest competition to the duo Walters and Inglis coming in 2nd -4th respectively could be a real tight race by the time the series hits Sunset on the 5th or whatever it is..
