Ya one of the better nights of the season so far.. Was great so see so many of my friends from Sunset around.. And thanks to Spencer Lewis for helpin me out on the mic.. Thanks to the Sauble Thunders for supporting the series in strong #'s as you have every race so far..
Will attempt to add top 5 for all classes but no report I'm bushed..Feel free to correct any mistakes I might of made
LLM Top 5 -- Dwayne Baker (Sunset) Tom Walters (Sunset) Brandon Watson (Sunset) Al Inglis (Barrie) Dave Lewis (Barrie).. Good dice with Baker and Walters for lead, and lil Watson really ran down Inglis and passed him for 3rd with 2-3 laps left.
Top Thunder 5 -- Kyle Donaldson (Sunset) Jim Belesky (Barrie) Todd Davenport (Sauble) Thayne Hallyburton (Barrie) I'm pressed for 5th but gonna say Dan Wright (Sauble).. I counted 19 Thunders...
Pure Stock -- Doug Butler (Sunset) Brian Murray (Barrie) Travis Hallyburton (Barrie) Will Davies (Barrie) Corey Young (Sauble).. Butler and Murray each had 2 heat wins I believe..
Really clean night 1 caution for three features and that came on lap 10 of the Thunder car race.. LLM's went 75 without a caution. PS 25 laps caution free..
I'm pretty sure 5th in TC was my buddy Dan Archibald there Dave.
Good job on the announcing tonight buddy.
Ya 5th befells me in Thunders.. Where was Grubb?? Or did he fall back a couple spots at race's end to like 7th or something?? Good strong run for the 07 if he did indeed finish 5th though..And thanks the announcing was fun just for a change and Bradley has no fear of me wanting his job anytime soon.. Although I would like to do it again sometime..
Little disappointed by the low #'s in PS and LLM, but PS especially but I do understand guys have other things on the go and some work Friday's.. But 300 bucks to win and 190 or whatever it is for 2nd is nothing to sneeze at..For year 2 I think every track should give say 25 show points for racing these series races.. That might encourage more home track guys to participate even if they dont intend on running the full tour..

Not sure on Grubb, that car has a ton of motor... I know Dan was looking for 5th place money when I was talking to him.
Mace was talking about show points I think it is a great idea. It's never good to be the hosting track and not have guys show. I think it would ease people's minds in the points too knowing everyone is going to be there... Less chances of wreckfest. I think some more series promotion would help too.
