I wouldn't count the 50 out, he was up to a solid 5th with 5 to go when the 17 cut a tire and took him out and, as an "involved" car he was sent to the back. Up until then at every restart with the 44 and 18 behind directly him, the 50 pulled away from them both with the other 4 cars comprising the top 5. The 44 did run a clean race but was not the fastest rookie out there, just happened to have the most luck of the rookie bunch. Hopefully the TV coverage will show what I'm talking about. All in all, it was a loooong night but great nonetheless.
i agree, the 50 was running a strong race until he got caught up in the craziness of the last 5 laps of caution filled fun
Overall I think it is an excellent group of drivers, but I've been most impressed with Larry Woodward. He has had 2 great weeks and had an excellent run going last night when the Reynolds tire issue took him out. Keep up the good work Larry.
I have to agree , the 50 car doesn't drive over his head like some others out there. He seems to be very patient and doesn't take dumb chances........kudos to larry!
I am notr sure I would call it ver the head...seeing as I have no clue what it takes to drive those weapons and have a tonne of respect for them in doing that...Larry is doing a great job as well!
