Well week 3 in the books and the top rookie gotta be Baker this week, coming through in the top 5 after coming from the back once due to earlier incident with Lewis. I thought Kyle's best race for sure!!! Good race also for Meyer with his 2nd top 10 in as many weeks and Woodward had a 2nd in a heat and a good run goin for a while as well in the future. Cronan had mechanical problems before the night even began but got some all important seat time in.

I am eating a big slice of humble pie right now, after week 3 I must say Mr. Baker Jr. has impressed me the most, with Rick (big dog) Meyer right on his heels. I do believe there is a lot of talent waiting to come out of the #18 and the #44 seats. Good luck to both drivers.

Superb run by Kyle 2 weeks ago. For the record the LLM I'm still keeping my eye on is the #50 "DOC" look out if  he gets any good luck. Not rookies but love the #5 and #69 LLM at Barrie, for consisent good finishes as well. Legit at least 5 contenders for the BSW title in 08. Thunders theres more than 5, and 3 or 4 solid ones in the Pure Stocks as well. Few good batltes shaping up in the Chargers between #07 Kurt Ball and 14 year old phenom Billy Melenhorst for rookie of the year. Both potential future stars imo...... Ditto for the #2 Pure Stock and #63 as well at Barrie. Put either of these kids in a good Thunder or LLM next year and look out CHARLIE!!!!!

Back in mid May everyone was making their predictions on LLM Rookies.I heard Baker,Woodward,And numbers like 18, 50, 13, 84,ect, ect, I of course, picked the number 44 of BIG DOG ,Rick Meyer, well boys look who is on top mid way through the year. You all have to admit The BIG DOG is like a Timex watch, He takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Good for you Big Dog, You sure have a set of them, one sure has to admire sure guts and determination, GO get them Ricky. YOU ARE MY PICK FOR ROOKIE OF THE YEAR and also in the hearts of many.
