Yes the Wait was ridiculous to organize the start and get the line-up going for the 4 cylinders......esspecially when it cost us one of the best thunder car shows this year(Aug 16th will be great if the BSW guys make the trek back......I hope more are allowed to come).

Thayne I know its not enough compensation....but in the end run I watched you shake the owners hand and accept things for the way they were. And im not disagreeing with the fact that you were screwed, I know its wrong we all do but at this point theres nothing more that can be done.....accept Varney TODAY????????????

It wasn't rob who made the decision off who stayed and who got thrown off, that would be the other hand you shook off brian watt, he then procceded to blame an infield official who had nothing to do with line up. I mean rob has no info on the stand just what he's told over the headset, but either way see you all at Varney, working till 5 or 6 so hope I can make it before the show starts.

Well lets see, considering, Sunset knew they were going to have a few BSW drivers showing up and considering on Sunset Speedway - CRO - they said they were going to do their best to welcome us, it wasn't a very warm welcome. Sitting in the stands and listening to comments about our drivers, it was rude. If our drivers made the cut to be in the feature, because they are very good drivers, then they should have run the feature. The BS was unbelieveable. Who taught these guys how to line up cars. Get on the ball guys, and what the hell is this no cautions. I heard from some drivers that run everyweek, and I must say most of the drivers were very nice, your fans leave something to be desired, that the new owner doesn't like cautions, well lets see lets not throw a caution and hope the car that spins out gets the hell out of the way before they all come around again. In my opinion Sunset Speedway is a very dangerous track to run under the new ownership. And this 4FUN division, they don't even have to wear firesuits, just long sleeves, these guys are running just as quick as the 4's and not anywhere near the safety regulations, so if you get hurt so what you signed the waiver. I watched one car catch fire, there was a fire extinquisher about 30 feet away, someone who looked like they may have been with the track, but made no move to grab the extinquisher and attemp to put out the fire, and this is the 4FUN class, no firesuit, but lets watch the driver struggle to get out of a burning car and do nothing, I couldn't believe what I was watching. People running across the track, cars leaving during race cautions, my god who the hell is running this show, and what the hell is he using for brains. Driver safety should always, always come first, but that doesn't seem to be the case there. On the plus side, they have Domino's Pizza and they best tasting fries and gravy that I have had in a long time...., but you know if I ever hear my kid say he is going to run Sunset, I will personally be smacking him up side the left ear. Not in my lifetime will he get on that track under the management its under right now. We at BSW have a much more superior racing facility to sunset, although at sunset it seems anything goes. There is no comparison between the facilities, not in this lifetime. BSW is by far the better track, now if we can just get the new owners to care a little more about our drivers and put them first..... hhhmmmmmm
