It was an ambitious program with 2 Barrie Late model features plus 2 full OSCAAR programs, definitely no need for out of car introductions for modifieds and king of the hill not necessary. For big events the track should look at 2 emergency crews like Sunset one for the track and one for the fans so there is no interuption for the racing. To be fair on the food issue Barrie has not had OSCAAR for a few years and maybe they don't know they attract a large crowd. They have learned for the next time, otherwise as an official at Sunset helping out OSCAAR on an off night I was impressed with the facility and the show.

Too true Wattie. OSCAAR sure has changed since they were at Barrie 4 years ago. But all in all they put on a good show. We were speaking with Mark today and he assured us that a couple of our side issues have happened at Sunset as well.

Like I said " Crap happens and you just wade through it" LOL!

Im going to second the 30 minute intro as a waste of time for OSCAAR.  I heard my step dad say once at sunset people were yelling at the drivers to get in their damn cars during an intro session as the show had gone on far to long.

Nobody cares about intros that much, and when the show is entering its 4th hour....it needs to be CUT.  Get on with it.  Parade laps prerace could be cut as well if they cutting into the 7pm starts.

Running out of food no big deal since Diane explained that.  Time to get food was a little much, but......Barrie isnt used to such large crowd as of late, so cut them some slack.

The overall length of the show was long as per a big special.....

1.  Three crashes in a row for OSCAAR heat one.
2.  Ambulance called in and red flag for pits emergency.
3.  Alot of wreckes overall in all 3 classes, alot of guys left their talent at home for that one.

Overall I had great time, alot of friends, good weather, and a great crowd that was needed for Barrie Speedway.

I really enjoyed the show at Barrie but on the subject of FOOD, they need to get better organized cause even on a Reg. Sat night you WAIT in a line way tooooooooo long.

True Dianne, keep up the good work, it's never a perfect science look at us at Sunset 3 rain outs in a row now that's an issue!
