Don Hanie said they bought up the speedway and the land behind,and an option on his land BURLS CREEK,part of the funding to cover the deal came from selling the track name. I now here Pete Shepherd is the man.

I though Barrie Speedway (owners, co-owners) already owned the land the speedway was on.

Either way, this should be interesting. I'm eager to here the official word on all of this.

The speedway was saved long before Steve came along. It was nowhere near done.
