I don,t beleive you could ever call Baker a field filler. Love him or hate him he is one hell of a driver. I personally would put him up there with Gaunt, Walters, and yes ,even Watson.
Well if its all the case, I'll start a lil rumor of my own and say #22 Glenn Watson quits OSCAAR and comes back to Barrie too!!!LOL And just kidding on that, but that would make for some awesome racing with Gaunt, Walters, and Watson all back with the current guys at Barrie!! OH WELL DREAMINGS FREE!!!LOL Heck I'd even be cool with Walters comin back and Gaunt and Watson doing off weekends!!!LOL
Dave I'm sure you would agree with me on this one when i say that going back a few years when all these guys ran at the same track at the same time that it was probably the best field of llm's anywhere in ontario.

Dwayne Baker is one of the best llm drivers around and can hold his own with anyone,Morrow can also beat any one he is very smooth and a real clever racer.Walters has pretty well won it and done it all shortrack wise and he is still kickin butt,Watson is the class of the field a sponsors dream and the best of the bunch too good for llm.Gaunt is a great llm driver but also in the last ten years the biggest high budget underachiever l have ever seen he does not belong in the big leagues and will be back at Barrie.So John Q you are a genius lmao.

Baker $, Morrow $, Walters $, Watson $, Gaunt $. What the difference dude? Other than the fact John raced in Cascar, Hooters cup, Late models, and back to Cascar ( Canadian tire series, whatever) when most of these guys were too scared to leave their home track even for an invitational! Sponsors dream??? You could not think of a better sponsor reprisentitive than john gaunt. Remember when he was rookie of the race, and finished 3rd in the hooters race? When he thanked all his sponsers and then said a big hello to all the guys and racers at barrie speedway? And you know what? I'm not even a john gaunt fan!
