Wow, If what Skidder said on another thread is true, then we could have a 2005 Walters, Gaunt, Baker, Shepherd, points battle all over again in 2009. Maybe Gaunt can capture the Barrie track championship that has eluded him sooo many times.

Yes indeed he was, sorry about that. I am just hoping that this all works out with Gaunt and Walters and hopefully Baker. You would have to admit that it would be some mighty fine racing.

I think it will be great because I am coming back in a new Port City car with a Hutter engine now that I also have  unlimited moneys and I wont need to crew chief for John. I was talking to Simon Stolte and he is coming back too.

Well JAKE if that is indeed you, and you werent being fecicious (sp??) that would be awesome news to see two grizzled veterans like yourself and Simon returning to racing after so many years absent from the driving ranks!!! Back in the old 8cyl days you knew if Jake showed up at your track for an invitational everyone else was racing for 2nd. As for Simon I think 5 straight track champoinships speak for themselves!!! Barrie already boats the strongest field on LLM in the province, so if those 2 come back along with Gaunt and possibly Walters it would be a field of ultra good competitors and might remind some of the glory years of the mid 80s!!!
