I figured the Watson matter was just a joke, but then again a number of people ran with it so I thought I'd try and bring the thread back to the original discussion point.
If l had an open check book like Gaunt l might be pretty good,you can race anywere as long as some one is willing to pay, if you want to race and win you need money lots of it,if you get lots of money the best equiptment money can buy an opportunity that 99.9% of racers can only dream about and do nuthin with it then l would say you are an underachiever.
Ah yes, the theory that Coates is the richest man in the world and spends 10's of millions of dollars on his racecar team. Coates is a business man. Sure the team is his toy, but the bottom line is I think you would find that he spends no more (and probably less than the couple of multi-car teams) then the other top 12 teams, with Lynch and White possibly being the exceptions.

Well they are the ones that proudly boast that their team has the best of everything! If that is indeed the case, then some questions are raised....
