hey there Darrin. You go and race to the hospital and early congrats on the new addition. but, you could still send out the car and Dad to run it. Just like old times.

got my vote on that one too. was a huge fan of Brian growing up. have a bunch of pictures of me with him and the checkers after numerous races back in the 80's

do you think if enough of us asked to see brian out in darrin`s car that it might happen. i too have great memories of brian with the checkers at barrie and would be great to see him racing in this memorial race for gary!

I too am all for that idea!! Congrats to you and Colette on the pending arrival Darin!! Have heard as long as baby is born by time race rolls around Darin himself will be in the ride, but your right would be great to see Brian in a racecar one last time!!! Being that hes a 5 time Barrie champ himself.. There's a real sweet #16 school car that needs a driver from where I sit!! 😉 Brian would be a great choice for that ride, perhaps Ian Bourque?? Keith McLeod?? Would be great to see any of these former champs fill that ride!!! 😉

On a side note, I hear there's a possibility current Barrie TC front runner Rick Walt could pull double duty and perhaps be in a LLM as well..
