Barrie Speedway has announced the details for the Garry Reynolds Invitational to be held at Barrie Speedway on Thursday, August 25th at 7:00 p.m. It will be a 100-lap invitational in memory of Reynolds, who sadly passed away as Barrie Speedway's all-time leader in feature wins.
Kerry Micks will do the honour of racing Garry's number 17 in this inaugural race.
All details and Driver registration forms are available at www.barriespeedway.com
This invitational should be a GREAT race...
This invitational should be a GREAT race...
I think your right should be a "GREAT SHOW" and no other Racing anywhere on a THURSDAY
Count me in for That One! :)...........Perhaps a THUNDER/SUPER STOCK could be added to the undercard 8) ;D
Had a look at the payout ;D looks like there will a few lookin for some "CA$H".....$350 to start the main 🙂
other 2 classes have points nights
Please make improvisions to allow the open LM cars at this event!! Garry would of wanted it that way!!! 😉 IMO a Delly/Flam/KD car might not need as big a weight penalty at Barrie as opposed to other tracks as you might think...As for Sunset drivers attending this event.. I'm guessin 5 ( Baker, Cronan, Holdaway, Morrow, and the man, the myth, the legend, the icon, the one they call ..... THE STOMPER.. ) Being that Tommy and Garry shared the 1973 Barrie 6 cyl title in what were essentially their rookie years.. To not see THE STOMPER at this race.. Takes me outta his fanclub.. 😉
