Too me Jim (the Polish Prince) has always been a gentleman and a great sportsman both on and off the track. He gives far more of himself to the tracks than he ever gets back. He is a great ambassador for the racing community, and always conducts himself in a proper manner while at a racing facility. I have sponsored Jim in the past, and if he will allow me I would like to sponsor him again this year.
Thanks Jim for the entertainment that you brought to Sunset, it was a blast..

BFC - I hope your last post was a joke, and if it wasn't I say quit worrying about everybody else.  Just put your butt in the drivers seat and let your co-pilot guide you to the front.  Go out and have a ton of fun, good luck in 2012!

Jim the Polish Prince forget the modified, remember you are the Champ!  I'm sure you and Rob will bring a hot rod to the battle at the bullring in 2012.  The only thing missing from the Belesky presence the last couple of years was "Big Mother".  Go get them in 2012!

I must say as one of the few recent people to have run Hosking engines, Rob speaks more truth then not.

I did not realize the deal I was getting from Mike Hosking (Robs dad) from 2002-2005.  They set up our car, helped us when we came to Barrie from Sunset, changed cams, got our gearing right ( which we had no idea about ) and even came over to my dads house to help sort things out on a Saturday, amongst otherthings.  What started as a wheel hopping pile in the summer, ended with top run against Gordie and Jongen on the last night, setting the stage for 2003...

Rob and HOSS turned us onto Jims car, a better car, and we went to town for that year.  Rob came over and tried helping paint the car one night when we didnt have an idea what we were doing!!

Picked up 6th my best points run that year, a big swing from 10th before their help,....Bring on 2004.... Practice day:  Brand new motor went south, took the car back to the shop, Rob pulled it out, HOSS rebuilt  it during the week NO CHARGE, we were running the next Saturday, and that year we managed 4th overall points, not bad for a couple cabinet shop workers against Veteren Luc Gignac, and the MONEY sacks of Jim Anderson and Steve Penny.

My dad and I knowing what we know now, could have done alot better with what we had then, but we just didnt know the cars, and I wasnt near the driver I became the last year or two.  When I get the money to do it again,  I will pick up where I left off with HOSKING blue!!

Heck I dont even know how many times Rob has come over on his nights off to set timing and dumb stuff we didnt know what we shojld be doing over the years.  No other engine guy will be as personall and stand behind his stuff.

and driven to a nudie park to pick up a engine.

And I know who that engine belongs to.

And it won first time out.  🙂

Charlie, that means more to me than anyone will ever know...  That's what I'm talking about right there.
