i'll have to find out about the nudie park one?? lmao charlie, sooo true! if i had to write down what hoss and rob have done for me especially rob these last 6-7 years it would be a 1000 page novel. how many times at the track is he fixing other builders stuff so the guy that overpaid can race, then have the same dummy go back to the other guy the next year ??? i couldn't be more proud of being true "BLUE" and will be until i'm done with this sport. rob's my best friend in the world and in my opinion the best engine builder you can find. give the guy a call, tell him your budget and go from there then come see me at the front. keith, you just might be right i think i may have jumped the gun. but plans are in the works for a totally "Hosking" house car, from chassis to carb. as rick flair would say "Woooooooooooooooooooooooooo"

No Jim didnt have money Mike, but we know who did lol  😉  Its to bad when you think of what used to be fast back then in a budget, would not likely touch the top 3 or 4 now....and I dont know about you, but my pay hasnt gone up as much as these cars have, or the cost of living.  The only one breaking the mold seems to be Jimmy, but as Ive said time and time again, alot of that is just plain knowledge of the class, and more seat time around that old oval then anyone else in that class combined right now.  Would it be a stretch Jim to say you were winning in 1999 in some old 38 special??  Or is that later on?

It was fun times back then anyways, you know your getting older when you can start talking about the past.  But im not about to start telling people I walked to school in a snow storm up hill both ways, every day lmao.

as charlie was saying way back when (2004) he finnished 4th in points in his "upgrade" car, he didnt mention that the car he traded in cause it was a "lesser" car finnished right on his a** in points, and was argueably faster for most of the season.....not to mention that driver was able to take a feature win before he was..... and the lesser car had a 2nd season $1000 engine in it......and of course the little know "natural adjustment" system the #07 team used while the #1 team was throwing everything including the kitchen cabinets at the car...... ahhh the stories from the glory days......the track layout was great, the car counts were up, we were on tv, and charlie was wearing his little red booties in his short shorts..... and langley thought he was hulk hogan. or maybe he was hulk hogan....have you ever seen both of them in the same room??????
