For Sale:
One perfectly legal Barrie Speedway Thunder, new stock steel boy 99 Cutlass, refreshed crate engine, power glide with only 4 nights on it since rebuilt, new belts, ready to race.

Reason for selling, sick of the bitching, pissing and moaning already! Some people just got to learn to stop flapping thier yappers and get a new hobby.

Please pm me for any further details and price. May consider trades.

DONE.

Marty,
I'm not going to quote your encyclopedia, but I will say this.
You said you had big shoulders, and to bring it on.    ;D.
You must have missed the "lol" at the tires.  Maybe a wink would have been better.
I have a fundamental problem with people casting stones, and will let people know about it.
You say the fast cars are gone, we had no competition, you say essentially my engine was a piece of shit, 9 cars on the track, bought a setup car etc etc.
I counter with some questions about the car, and imply that your engine was imported from jeruselem.
Tit for tat, now you know how I felt when you chocked up our double championships to poor competition and lack of quality cars (quite the opposite). Really the kicker for me was the jab about the motor.
Then you post that tidbit about the advertising, which I assume was meant to infuriate me.
It doesn't, because I do have big shoulders.
As far as my business is concered, I appreciate the well wishes. If people pull their heads out of the sand and realize they are paying too much for too little, ill be here.
My customers are friends, and I would stand beside them whether its a pitside fight, or an offseason online bitchfest. Its part of being a solid guy, I have changed cams and engines in the pits, tuned other builders engines, advanced cams at 1130 sat morning, fixed blown motors in 1 week so guys could race the next sat and driven to a nudie park to pick up a engine.

So I'm not worried, those that come will get a great deal, great power and a guy that will do anything for them.
And those that don't will get their doors blown off.

Im not in it for the money, I also am fortunate to have a great paying job. I do it to win.

I'm done with this conversation. If you come back to Barrie ill be sure to tell the prince to pedal it this time with our 2 ways. And afterwards we can glance all we want.  :-*

And I know who that engine belongs to.

Some food for thought.

Everyone seems to agree about keeping cost down, so why doesn't someone try to get all the tracks on the same page to get a better handle on thunder cars/super stocks or start a sanctioned body.

The 4 tracks that I've familiarized myself with all seem to be worlds apart with their own track rules, yet they're all supposed to be the same class.

Another consideration is the older full frame cars are getting harder to find as complete car, and new people don't have parts laying around or may not even know where to start looking for them. It's real easy once you get in the loop to find where all the race parts are, but it's not that easy starting out.
