This topic started out as a good discussion but has now developed into a mud slinging contest. If all you racers can't come to some common solutions to the current state that Thunder Cars are in, how do you expect the tracks to resolve your issues?

You like me? We've never actually spoken! We've made eye contact a couple of times.
While I understand your push like a piece of shit camaro had the benifit of what looked like a 50HP advatage over us lowley turds at barrie, can I ask you a  question?
Did you raise it from 6 inches to legal barrie ride height?
Did you have barrie legal 2 1/4 inch exhaust?
Did you go by barries "written" rulebook and use all year make and model front end parts including bolt in ball joints?
All 3 gears in that tranny? Recap tires on the outside? lol.

As anyone who was there that night knows, you won that on motor. And you can't tell me that fuckers legal. If it is, jesus himself built it.

Well Rob, your right. We haven't actually spoke, so for me to say I like you was out of line.
I guess I liked what you do for the sport, your hands on and help out Jimmy. You build
a quality piece at a reasonable price. Again my apologies for thinking of you as a "friend"
Its quite clear I have angered you with my comments, I did send Jimmy a PM trying to
explain myself, and made it Very clear to him I meant no disrespect to him or you and your
accomplishments.

So to address your comments,

1. Not sure about "push like a piece of shit camaro" is the right terminology
I believe its "camaro driving little bitch" I do understand one is in reference to
me and the other my car. So I guess you kind of have a point. Push it did
3 years ago, but not so much now.

2. I don't think the advantage we had was 50 hp, I mean I wish I did have that kind
of advantage, but it simply is just not true.

3. The last full season I ran (aside from 2011) was Barrie 3 years ago. The ride height
rule then was 7 inch. So in that off season we did some HARD WORK to the car to
make things better and left it at 7 inch where it still is today!

4. 2 1/4 pipe is the size we have as per our (sunset) rules package, we are allowed
to run an X pipe so we may have a little advantage there, but no more then the guy
that hides it in the muffler.

5. All of the front end parts are moog Camaro replacement parts straight of the shelf
from NAPA, Ball joints are the Taller bolt in's  moog none the less and rules do permit.

6.  Tranny is a glide, all gears in working order, freshened with a 10" converter. the rule
is 11" but I thought i would save myself the $ and see if I could get away with the 10"
seeing as we already had it

7.  Recaps.......Ahh yes the great  "Tire Gate" of 2011. If you are referring to the rumour
of guys grooving the LLM tire and passing them off as the recap, then I can truly
laugh out loud, If you mean something else by that comment, then I am sorry I don't
follow. The Grooved tire came to be at sunset, Sitting in the stands, a young lad had
bolted 4 slicks on his for practice, and his Granpa was sitting next to us laughing saying
"watch this" Then  preceded to tell us how back in the day Hanley would mess with everyone
by doing something like this in practice. So long story short, We fucked with EVERYONE
Never once put a set on the car, But all the "sore losers" now had one more thing to
complain about. It was the funniest thing watching people try to look at our tires.
So many people took it Hook line and sinker!!! We would stand and laugh in the
trailer.....way to funny what a well played rumour will stir up.

And As you saying anyone who was there and watched the night the push like shit,
cheated up camaro came up to Barrie to "help" out with the show,(car count) could REALLY
see, the 12 got by the cheated up 66. And was wheeling that car so hard burnt up
the tires which allowed the push like shit camaro to make a nice clean pass. I mean if
you would have had a 2 way radio you could have told your driver maybe to ease off the
throttle cause his $2000 ($2500 in real life) motor was absolutely roasting the tires off
off the car that was "bought" well prepared. And for the record, we did pass tech
There were no questions about our cam,  lifters were good rockers good too so to was our stock
Carb. When I received the payout the next week, there was a very nice note from
the new owners thanking us for the support, They left out the insults about me and
my car.

The fact you want to call me names and begrudge my 10 year old car that I built
is fine with me. I have a great job that allows me to earn great money that I spend
on my hobby/passion. Is it all cheated up?, well hell it must be cause Jesus was reading the
instruction when I put it together.

Hope business is good for you next year you have done a fine job at advertising!

Merry Christmas and I will be sure to glance at you at the track!

Marty (camaro driving little bitch) Monette

i think this topic is OVER! i think things have got way out of hand, i'm sitting here speechless! marty, i totally enjoy racing you and i think when we are door to door the racing could never be better. i really wish you would quit quoting me on a comment that i made in anger and sincerely apologized for many years ago. i consider you my friend and i hope you feel the same. i can't speak for rob, but i know something about this topic has really hit a sore spot somewhere along the line. i got your pm and understand what your points were in your post, 100% no hard feelings here! i personally would love for you and your crew to come back to barrie, great competitors and devout racers. ross, we all get your point so quit beating the dead horse. lets be constructive or let this topic die, no need for personal attacks. we are all passionate about this sport in our own ways and collectively we can keep it going but this shit is dividing us more than rule packages. lol  to all my fellow competitors and "friends"  MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Sorry Jim, I can't stop until I addres this......

That engine is not legal for BSW, it says right on the description "no mechanical fuel pump provision"!

Seems an engine being legal or not hasn't stopped you, so why should it stop me?

See that's what happens when you race with your pocket book, you have no idea what really is going on..

WTF are you shooting your mouth off about now!!! If you that I'm doing something illegal please let us all know.
You have no idea who I am or how I deal with my race car now or in the past. I haven't DRIVEN a race car is 15 years but I can tell you this, I can and will lap you like it's my job with the most legal thunder car that you have ever seen! That is if you have the balls to get your whinning ass back on the track. And I will do it with no radio!!
