Congratulations to Dwayne Baker and the 48 crew on the Barrie LM title

Well it was a long hard battle and it is now over with a championship earned for the 48 team. First one for Dwayne, how many for Peter?No can deny the strength of all those starts without a single DNF and the feature wins and results to match. On a track that visitors always find filled with ominous walls and not enough room you guys pretty much stayed out of trouble for an entire season.Keith and our 19 team gave it a good run but couldn't make up for the opening night engine failure and the broken rad from the pile-on wreck. But no sour grapes here, the trophy is handed out for the best results over the whole season and no one night or incident can be singled out one way or the other.Good job guys. You got us this year but we kept you on your toes at least :) To everyone else, please try to keep this post positive, championships after all should be celebrated.

Have to agree with that as well. And have to agree that all the divisions were great battles this year. Dwayne had a career year with 4 feature wins. That was awesome. It was really cool watching the LLM features up in the blue stand in corner 3 and 4. A couple of times I saw debris under caution and flagged the crew towards it. I may have saved a wreck, lol....Great view up there though! It's a secret spot, so don't tell anybody!!! lol, actually I think it's a camera platform but spotters use it as it's a great view.
