I dont think we will see 30, 26 regulars is not outta the question tho....i think last year we were a solid 22-24

It was usually 24 - 26 cars... 23 was low count I think this year Thayne. I know of at least 4 or 5 people I have spoken to, including you, who are looking to move up or come to Barrie. Of course we will see how serious they are as we get closer to May.

Ok I will take a stab at this, as last year I was pretty accurate with my assessments. I will say you'll see somewhere around 21-22 LLM on a nightly basis. Maybe you will see as many as a full 24 car field most nights, but for now I'll say 21-22 (regular runners). Thunders I think the counts will be virtually the same 25-26 cars we had most nights last year. I think you might see a few new faces, but a few could shift to Sunset as well as they are rumored to be running many 1000 to win Thunder car races in 09. Will work on a Thunder preview in the coming days. I like Thayne's idea for the 4cyl division and run a 2 lap time trial night on opening night then split the field in half accordingly for A Division and Chargers with the provision being if you win more than 3 features in CHARGER  you MUST move up to A Division. But that being said I could forcast maybe 18 cars in each division.

Your counts are always very close Davey, so i would assume you will be close, but what if we allow 16 V. cars? will 4 cyl. counts go way up?

I'd say probably abit as there are some people that have said they'd like to run Barrie if they could run 16v.
