just bring your own stuff and keep it outta sight....they won't have enough man power to search thoroughly....

i remember when we went to the SARS concert we got there about 2 hrs after they opened the gates and when we went through security at that point it was chaos and we went in with a cooler bag full of food the guy said "we're only looking for grenade launchers at this point" cause there was 400,000 people there and security was overwhelmed.  we sat beside people who we're livid because they were one of the first ones there and they had all of their food thrown in the garbage when security was fresh and there were only a few people there.
lol we weren't aware of the food ban and had spliffs wrapped up in our sandwiches so we were happy we got there late!!

so barrie isn't the SARS concert but i guess the moral of the story is be smart and you can eat and drink a feast of your own food and don't wrap your spliffs in your sandwiches when food is banned lol....but chances are they won't be able to police it in the pits

I can only afford to attend one event this weekend. Here is the option I am choosing , I will go to Cayuga Sunday for the ARCA race, and watch the NCATS on tv later. Cost will be the same... over inflated gas versus over inflated under cooked food. 1.35 a litre for gas versus 2.00 for a 1/4 litre of bottled water. ETC. ETC

I knew it, I just knew it!!! BSW I hope you know what you are doing???. You are ruining a good thing!!! Good Ridens!!! I will be @ Sunset waiting for my buddy Frank to pull a 3 Feature Night, 1 @ BSW and the other two @ Sunset. Frank, I will be the guy in corner 1 eating the food I brought from home, and yes I have to buy a new cooler since I left my other one in the parking lot @ Sunset on Saturday. P.S. I hope who ever found it turns it back in??? I know what it looks like and it's one of a kind- so watch out!!!

In previous years I very seldom brought my own food to the track. I always thought it was the right thing to do to support the track by buying their food and drinks. A proseperous track can mean higher payouts , which means more cars , which creates a better show. This year I bought food from the track once and I wont buy it again until their are changes. Yes it is overpriced but the main reason is that once you finally get the food it is horrible.
