Well it looks like it will be time to pack the cooler and do some tail gate partying during the day so I don't spend a fortune on food. It definitely cut down my costs when i went to the Cayuga event as I only bought a bottle of pop while I was there, all the rest I prepared before I left and eat outside the track in the parking lot. And actually I saw more tailgating at Cayuga this year compared to the past couple as it seemed more families that did go were having bbq's at their car to add to the fun part of the racing experience.
we r bringing ours terri-lynn
as for the owners...i bet they didn't...they r renting it and counting the money,,,
You Guys are Kidding right''Please tell me your Kidding with MHM Racing we Take turns with the Food for the BBQ My god what are these PPLL Thinking??. We are the Pit crew and In a lot of crews there is a lot of ppl,,''Oh wait a minute'', The Owners are not showing a Profit Yet!!!, Thats what it is so they are making up these rules as The Big Guns come in Talk about self centered Pr%$!ks Ok I had enough I Thought these guys are Cool but not anymore BSW can Kiss my puckering starfish!!!! >:( >:( >:(.....
This is absolutely ludicrous!!! First off they charge you pretty much your eye teeth for a burger, and then when fans and drivers alike find a way to beat this utter robbery by bringing their own food and such they take that priviledge away too??? This is not a racetrack its a dictatorship!! I carry my note pad , timers, and such in a cooler bag type holder and if someone even bothers to stop me and try checking it I will knock out their fronts and walk off the property. Now I do kind of understand the no lawn chair seating for this week, as when they bring in the added grandstands there should be enough seating for everyone. And the people in the lower rows of the grandstands that will be in turn 4 shouldnt have their view obstructed by the people sitting in lawn chair row, so that I do understand. But racing is pricey enough these days when you figure in ticket and gas prices!!! Wheres the affordable family fun gone??? And with the NASCAR bigwigs in town, making everyone buy their food could open up a new can of worms, as we are now waiting more than 20 mins sometimes for a simple burger on a regular night. Now with added spectators and possibly increased line ups at concessions how are the NASCAR folk going to feel if they are subjected to this?? The track wont sure leave a good impression on them in this the new owners first time hosting a NCTS race. I really dont see how they plan on policing this though cause if you bring a lunch bag with a few sandwiches in it wrapped up in a jacket or such they better not plan of frisking everyone upon entry or this will leave a bad taste in alot of people's mouths. By the actions taken lately I wonder if the new ownership group are trying to turn fans and drivers alike to other tracks???? This is very poor business practice!! I plead with you Mr.'s Simpson, Payetta, and the Colts owner Howie (whoever he is), you NEED to change this or Barrie Speedway will go careening fast in the dumper. And I'd think someone that has seen more races than the 3 of you combined should know where he's coming from on how race fans DESERVE to be treated. Now one of these guys is supposed to have a vast knowledge in business imporovement so I ask this question : When the heck are we going to see this come into play??? Never really thought much about the tailgate factor although that could be fun. Is it this way at all NCTS races?? (The no coolers and outside food and such as someone mentioned it was the same at Cayuga??) or Was this policy strictly made this week by our own local owners??? Anyone know?? From the cheap seats you have my signature!!!!LOL
hey davey....if they dont let us bring our que in we are cooking in the parking lot or on the road...ta hell with them...bring food, use our que!
