you guys are just too much-now that it appears that Glaze is a threat to all three of the points leaders and the other hoping to catch him in the points race it appears that they are out to get him and why? probably because he did his homework and a ton of research to make his car better and to keep it where he wants to in the points. did any of you 4 complain or protest last year when in a borrowed car he drove through the field not once but twice and still finished in the top 10? NOPE!!!!!!!! did any of you 4 complain/protest Ricky Walt when he was in a borrowed car for 3 weeks and finished 1st, 2nd and a 3rd???? again the answer my friends is NOPE!!!!!!! Why not may I ask?? A) Glaze was not racing last year and therefore was no threat to you guys, and Ricky still finished 5 but you guys didn't think he had a shot at finishing higher than that, BTW Crum-b if I do recall correctly did you not drive your G/friends dad's Mustang a few times at Sunsets open practice last year? did you not turn low to mid 17.0's around that track? could it be that if he had his car ready that he would consider letting you drive it for some hot laps to see what it could do with a good wheelman? oh hang on he already knows- Chance, Ricky and Ben all drove it too, I almost forgot, they all did very well in it as did you in Peterborough, right???? Can I ask this question of you four- how many times have each of you come from the back to the front in the feature to either win it or finish in the top five in the last 2 years? we have all seen you guy's it do with the exception of Penny, he's finished in the top ten but he's done well for himself in that regard,  as far as what went on in tech on sat. night I would agrre with swaybar on that, not his car, owner has to be asked about it, I wouldn't allow anybody to tear down a borrowed car just because he started mid pack, got spun out and restarted at th back and slowly picked off the cars in front of him one by one, you guys forget all too easily motor is only about 25% of the equation, the other 75% is divided up between driver skill and ability, tires, set-up and a desire to go out and have fun, finish well and keep that car in one piece to take home and do it again the next week, the track has a few options as far as i can see it--A) dismiss the protest because it is frivilous,B) get an independant tech and tech all five cars, and C) give out hankies to the cry babies!!!!!! hold on an even better solution tech the mustangs and let the hondas cheat and cheat some more because the track tech has no specs for them--- what a joke!!!! In my books because the track tech only has the mustang specs and nothing else maybe the protest could be thrown out because the track cannot tech any other car that races there, that would be the best course of action.

Hellothere, I hope the track is not ignoring the problems, but something has to be done when drivers are taking matters into their own hands out of frustations. The track needs to listen to their drivers. If the majoraty want the reckless rough driving to stop and the officials say they won't tollerate it any longer, then they should be black flagging these guys, trust me a coulple of times and the message will get across very quickly. Maybe there should be a " drivers commitee" to which the drivers can voice concerns, and the committee takes it too the track and the problems get solved that way. It would have to be more than one driver voicing the same concern, that way no one could accuse the track of playing favorites, and giving any one driver their way. It is just a suggestion, but at this point I am willing to throw out any ideas, I want my track to be the best in Ontario. I want my track to have the best drivers, the best safety, and the best reputation as being the track you want to race at. Maybe that makes me too passionate about the track and about this sport, I really don't care, I care about racing as a sport, and I want to see the best drivers racing at my track every week, I want to enjoy watching a race, I want good competition, not reckless bashing. The best track around with the highest standards, and maybe the strickest rules, will bring to best of the best to us. The best drivers understand good competition and will race with others drivers who respect them and the sport. Let the rif raf race elsewhere, I would rather watch the best, who respect this as a sport then someone who just wants to wreck other people. This thread is suppose to be about promoting safety to the highest standards, and fairness along with it. Not a bashing podium once again, let's throw out the ideas on improvements not who is cheating and who isn't.

I have to agree with you YORKIE. I love the Speedway and don't want to have to go anywhere else. I'm proud to call Barrie my home track but things have gotten a bit out of hand. These engines everyone are talking about have been tech out the buthole over and over again so this shouldn't be an issue. Its just when you are told at the beginning of every drivers meeting that it won't be acceptable it has to end that night not next weekend or the one after that. Officials that get yelled at are supposed to have these drivers and teams suspended and it isn't happy. I understand you need a car count but you would think after getting a black flag they would think twice before spinning someone. I saw Tom and Derek take someone out this Sat night and nothing was done. If the track doesn't do something someone is going to get seriously hurt and then what I'm sure NASCAR would have to investigate these happenings seeing as it is there insurance thats being affected. Already had two bad ones why not make it three or four.
