Hmmm Charger - Who is there past beef with Glaze or Nick. If it is with Glaze why do they want to tear down Nick car? If it is with Nick or his car why involve Glaze? Penny was doing all the running around and they were giving all the money to him and it was his name on the protest form - not theirs. I had a look at it when Brad Richmond was reading it. Where you there last week when Glaze's car got wrote off? I was. The car is finished, it was so twisted that i can't believe they go it on the trailer. Nick has a friend who brings his car to the track for him every week, do you think that he friend is going to tow it up for someone else to drive. No, would you? They let Glaze drive it, but part of it was that he need to come and get it an pull it up. Makes sense to me, i would not expect anyone to pull their car up for me to drive when they have been nice enough to lend it.
If you had loaned out your car to someone (assuming you have one) and other drivers wanted to tear it down, how would you feel about lending it, would you want to ? I don't think so, unless you have money to burn in your pocket, cause it costs more for the gaskets then you would get for the tear down.
This is just my opinion as to why he towed it out, but if I had just borrowed a car I would not want to have it torn down (I BORROWED IT, i don't own it, it isn't mine to take apart)!!!!!!!!!! Also Glaze has an engine builder who's going to pay to have it put back together, the car owner or Glaze? and would his engine builder what to touch someone else motor - maybe not, what then? Also i heard that Glaze had to work in the morning and wasn't' going to spend his whole night in tech and then have to go to work. Remember this is just my opinion and it maybe totally wrong. Oh yea it was after the 10 minute rule by at least 1/2 hour and Glaze was out of the pits before the money was given to Brad Richmond, they were all crying about that do, it not fair wahhh wahhh. I have no patience for whiners and they rule in that area. Maybe the track should give out a trophy for that at the end of the year. Oh but that might make the rest of them cry harder. I know monogrammed hankies for them to cry into and the track could hire a surrogate mommy to tell them that they are such big boys.

scooter i agree this is not the thread to be posting about tech
but i was repling to a previos post sorry.

swaybar yes i have a car and no i dont think i would loan it out
period its a hand full at the best of times. but on the same note
if any one wants to tear it down be my guest i will end up with your money. and i personally have no beef with glaze or nick in fact i have lent the extreeme team a part of my car last week cause mine was wrecked and crystal needed a part to run the feature. the rule states that any driver can protest any car, so why leave thats all i have to say on this.

Hellothere the drivers that choose to drive this way and ruin other drivers nights aren't going to stop by themselves so who is responsible then????

I have to take the blame for introducing the tech discussion into this thread. Unfortunately the two issues are closely related, I believe, both to participant attitude and intimidation, so please accept my apologies. Perhaps another thread should have been started for the issues occuring in or around the tech shed.

Actually Thunder6, Charger, you are right, the issues in the Tech shed are very closely related, the point is what gets said to the drivers in that tech shed should be followed through on, and maybe if black flags flew for deliberate rough driving, maybe Glaze would not have had to borrow a car. This is the exact point. Did his car get that way, because of a mishap, Something beyond anyones control, a blown tire, steering wheels coming off, an axel breaking or did someone take him out, the only way they know how to eliminate the competition. Hey if you have nothing to hide, I say let them tear you down, and pocket the money. This business of cars getting smashed up and written off, and now is not the best time to lose a car, this close to the end of the season, has got to stop. I love the track I attend every week, I don't root for all the drivers, hell there are some I can't stand, but on the same note, I certainly don't want to see any of them get hurt. I want my track to be the best around, being the best will bring good drivers, will keep good drivers, and that is what brings in the fans which brings in the money. If drivers are not treated right, they will leave for other tracks, if drivers feel unsafe they will leave. Let's all speak up and get the changes done. This is our track, our money keeps it going. Lets push to make it the best, one voice they will ignore, all of us speaking up they can't ignore.. Well that's just my opinion
