Ken's car looks stellar. A+ on that one
It's tough getting cars ready for the mall shows this day and age. For one not alot of folks have the money to get things done early enough and another is because not everyone can afford to re-paint and re skin their cars every single year. For those who do, it's nice to see them show off their hard work.
I do believe that Barrie will have a decent count with cars. Maybe not as good as Sunset, but good enough to put on a show. I am sure some cars will mosey on up to Barrie from Sunset if they don't have the equipment to compete.
Would have been nice to re-skin and re-paint our car but after 2 years of racing and not changing a panel thus far, i'd say it still looks pretty darn good
I know the track let everyone know late that a mall show was being done. So like Kahnefreak said not to many guys would have had cars ready in time to put in the mall. I know that mine was finished being painted the weekend they went in, if I knew that we were going to have a mall show sooner I would have had my car ready in time. I'm not to sure why people think Barrie's not going to have high car counts? Yes I'm sure the loss of top notch late models is going to hurt that class but I've being told that Thunders and pure stocks will have good car counts and maybe some other drivers in the Late model class will find their way to Barrie. We can all predict whats going to happen but we won't know till opening night.
just wanted to say i went down to see the cars at the mall show. they look great! but.... was a little disappointed in the fact that there was not 1 person from either the track or the race teams there to discuss anything about whats going on or just discuss anything!
yea, I too noticed that Luke, but let's not forget, last time the owners had a mall show the Colts weren't in the playoffs...I was in the Molson Centre today and the lineup for tickets was out the coltsport store and poor Linda was in there working her but off....I am sure she would have been the one who was to baby sit the cars....
just food for thought.

Chris people think Barrie is not going to have any cars because Sunset has almost 150 paid registered cars . There are only so many cars in the area and it would seem the vast majority have have decided to run the Dilley Bowl . I do think Barrie will gain some of the uncompetitive cars from Sunset after some guys don't qualify for the feature a few times . I would think Barrie's other big problem will be a lack of spectators .
