HAHA, this si true BB...might be a bit tough...
must be the same guys who swear that they can port the heads and valve seats on the engine. The only real big way I see to make extra power on one of these crates is to invest in a crankase evacuation kit to reduce the drag in the bottom end.
that just helps with ring seal, but it is probably the only legal modification
good point. but how abut back rockers way off to all lifters to move up? any way if one can replace the sealed timing cover bolt then the sealed intake bolt should not be a problem either.
true but many have claimed the bolts are available but no one has been able to back up that claim, when someone can put the bolts in my hand I will believe it,until then I will take it as a myth
Why buy the bolts? Tack-weld a nut to your seal bolts remove them ,make modifications replace bolts knock off nuts file smooth, then apply a salty solution to rust the bolt head so it looks like it has not been tampered with. And that wire seal with the lead clamp? Attach a battery to the ends of the wires and that heats the lead enough to slide the wires out. When your done just slide the wires back through the lead seal and reheat until the lead melts around it again.Done a "legal" sealed crate motor.
something tells me you ahve done this before^^^ ahah
