I might just go enjoy the summer somewhere else.

I know most of you guys up at the front weren't involved in this one but on lap one Ray Shepherd got into it with someone and got into the wall by Turn 2. Luc Gignac and I held up so we wouldn't crash into Ray, and all 3 of us ended up getting going, no caution. All 3 of us were stopped dead on the track. No caution.

Anyways I was lapped by the second or third lap as the leaders were on us by the time we got going. I don't care about being lapped because I would have got lapped sooner or later. But the leaders were coming around and 3 cars are stopped and no yellow was thrown.

I got home last night and the only feeling I was experiencing was "tired". It wasn't like this last year. I am very seriously thinking about taking the rest of the year off. I don't really care to spend all of this money and time anymore. I know no one really cares as I am not a front runner or run every night or have the newest "New Gen" car. I might change my mind tomorrow, who knows, but this is how I have felt every night this year.

Tex don't give it up yet. I almost did at the first of the year as it was very frustrating but I almost got that first checkered flag last night and thats what keeps you going. Just think that next week is a bran new week and forget the last one.

Tex, everyone I am sure has paid their dues to the asphalt gods some more than others...YOU WILL GET THERE!!!! Have some faith. You've got the support and respect that counts for something.

Hang in there! 😉
