i think maybe Ron and Dar should say something...they may get further than any of us would...If Barrie and sunset closed I would just go somewhere else....I may already do that...I love traveling...

As far as Jim and Marty, they aren't dummies....and I can guarantee you, especially marty that if they were being listened to by management they would not be on here...

Just food for thought here...but I am not sure how many fans were there but just two years on a LLM speacial night the fans would be packed to the point of not being able to move....last night there were many empty seats....if it is all the rental stands then get rid of them...atmosphere is a big thing and they are losing it with all the seating...we coulda had 2000 people there and would have looked empty...

Also forget Terry...you can see he is just stirring the pot.

The frustrating thing is that I can tell the ppl what to do...it isnt a mystery...but they just dont wanna listen....last week in my hand I got the Blank Stare and the Talk To the Hand...I just about wrung someones neck...

I would almost rather go somewhere and have fun and get kicked off the track at the start of the feature than wreck my car every week, get beer dumped out, spend a fortune at the concessions and watch my summer home go down the drain...

I found it funny in the drivers meeting how it was explained to us that drivers' meetings were not a "forum for discussion".

"In a meeting, two or more people come together for the purpose of discussing a (usually) predetermined topic such as business or community event planning, often in a formal setting." -Wikipedia

hmmmm, not a very inspiring atmosphere they have developed at the track this season, downright tyrannical if you ask me.

Maybe they should instead call it a driver's "lecture".

"A lecture is an oral presentation intended to present information or teach people about a particular subject."

🙂

Ya, lecture is right, I personally use my summers and racing to get away from school-like lecturing but I guess I got out smarted. Bravo new and improved Barrie Speedway, bravo, you win.
