Baker has always been a clean and consistant driver even before Shotanus helped him out. I know how well of a driver he is ever since he started racing LLM or LM or in the Alstar Series. He has been a top runner in all of those divisions regardless of who is helping him out. Although I am not very old as I am only 24 years old I do not know anything about Shotanus other then the fact that my dad says that he is a very smart man. He seems to be a stand up guy any time I have talked to him in Baker's pits. Baker has skill and always has had the skill. stop picking on drivers just because they are doing well. It is sad to see that we treat our good drivers at Barrie Speedway like dirt. That does not say much about the track. Let's give the track a good name and cheer on our good drivers instead.
Time out when did baker very finish in the top five in alstar race. what i seen in the past baker has been full time field filler with the best he done is 3th last year in the points . Any now all the top driver gone he the top dog. who his competition lewis,mcwhirter, mcleod. in my book there just field filler too.

Kahnefreak i dont think barrie speedway treats their drivers like dirt, it just the comments from a few who dont know anything that sit on their keyboards and make stuff up... Mcleod broke barries late model lap record beating the likes of Gaunt, Walters,Watson ect so I dont think that they are field fillers!!!
Bob is way to literate to be related to Sue but he is correct.Baker is a decent racer and a great guy but the top six runners at Barrie have never won a championship (go carts and junk not included),the only guy even close is Jongen he won the thunder car championship one year and probabley should have stayed there so lets not get talking stupid again about how great the 15 car llm competition is at Barrie cause it aint,reason being the big dogs and the real show Gaunt and Walters are gone.
I still say the show is every division at Barrie. For some reason everybody feels that the LLM division is all there is! if it was just the LLM division at Barrie how many people do you honestly think would show up? Every division makes the show. Not because I am not a LLM driver but because it is reality that every car in every division makes up the show.
