As always I am amazed at statmans stats .

Like I said I mostly remember the more unusual cars so I remember things like Ken Cole's fast Maverick . No speedwaybob I don't think your Tom or Tammy Milligan but I think there is a good chance you maybe Paul . There is no chance you are Paul's girlfriend since he has never had one . Am I the only person that has noticed that if you know what I mean  😮

lol. Doug Duncan in 1973 that won the hooligan championship. Well my grandfather Ron Melson old track photographer as well was leading the points in 73' with 2 weeks to go and somebody complained about a part he had. He bought it over the counter and it was a stock part. But since it was not available over all counters ALL of his points were taken away and he did not win the championship. I remember Dan Lazine. He was a stand up guy driving the bright yellow car back in 1997. As for the Reynolds name at the track. It goes as far as I can remember. My brother and I use to play with his daughter Kelly Reynolds behind the stands in the late 80's early 90's. My dad Dave Melson in 1979 was leading the points in his rookie year but half way through the season he ran out of money and he was still in the top 10 at the end of the year. My favourite back then was Tim Cotter in the late 80's early 90's. If my dad didn't win then I wanted Tim to win. Lot's of memories at Barrie

Here is the full list of champions that I have. Anyone who can fill in any of the gaps, I'd be very appreciative.

In my earlier post I missed several of the double champions.

I remember Ron Melson from his days at Garnet's Hobbies and he was responsible for getting their name on the front fender of Bev Bye's #90 Pontiac Tempest in 1970. The Chevelle he raced in 1973 was a much nicer looking car than Doug Duncan's Flying Bedstead 57 Chevy or as it was more affectionately dubbed by announcer Doug McLellan, the Ruptured Duck.

I have an old program pic somewhere of Bev Bye and Lloyd Reynolds with a dual tire set-up on the back of Bev's 1957 Chev that didn't quite make it through tech. But it was a very neat idea 🙂

It is very sad to see the innuendo's and small minded comments by some members, Pinecrest you of all people should know better but a hypocrite has no bounds so it is par for the course.Don't get to caught up in your own hype and wallowing in your own self importance as there is a fine line between having some good fun and just being out right mean you have crossed that line in my opinion.I am happy to give out insults and expect to take them in return it is part of the fun of cro, but there is a difference between insults and slurs.
I am not related to the people who's character you are assassinating and in reality l should find it funny that some of you believe that l am.Some idiot statsman even going to the trouble of disecting multiple Barrie winners to analyze my identity get a life you Nerd.Like most on here l know of the people you are insulting and they are decent folk.

Statsman you nerd Andrew Cole was the thunder car champ in 1999, and l do not believe the showstopper was ever a champ at Barrie.
