Wow, every time Statsman starts posting the old rusty gears start turnin'. I remember quite a few of these drivers. Al Reed was one of my favorites in the blue #21 Chevelle. I had some Dave Franks souvenir pictures of that car, but they are long gone now. And the JYD class, that was something else... Like four fun at Sunset but 20 years ahead of it's time. A guy I know now but didn't know then raced JYD and apparently it was a blast. I was about 13 and remember some local guys building a car for that class. They rolled the window almost to the bottom and hit it with a hammer. I guess the track officials weren't too impressed when they found out about that stunt, something about a door seam splitting open and spilling all the glass on the track. The good old days... love it, keep this stuff coming.

I do notice you seem to have the most disdain for the most knowledgeable people on here which I find amusing and I for one really enjoy seeing things such as the chart statman posted since I was around for most of it but ill be damed if I can remember all of the winners and champions over the years.

It is very sad to see the innuendo's and small minded comments by some members, Pinecrest you of all people should know better but a hypocrite has no bounds so it is par for the course.Don't get to caught up in your own hype and wallowing in your own self importance as there is a fine line between having some good fun and just being out right mean you have crossed that line in my opinion.I am happy to give out insults and expect to take them in return it is part of the fun of cro, but there is a difference between insults and slurs.

Statsman you nerd Andrew Cole was the thunder car champ in 1999, and l do not believe the showstopper was ever a champ at Barrie.
