Remember how they split the 4cyl classes a few years back?  Do the same with the supers/thunders.

Fine bring in all the new toys for the superstock class, then have sign up sheets for a basic thunder class.....

stock rear ends, automatic trans, stock shocks-mounted stock style-or pro adjustable, stock bodies-no next generation, 3200 lbs, stock sway bar links side to side, and 47 percent rear weight rule.

The rear weight rule keeps the setback cage cars from having any advantage, along with massivly gutted out cars.  So anyone who has a gutted out tin kit car can still run in this  lower class.

There are 5 or 6 thunders running over top of another 5 or 6, maybe good drivers like John Mitchell 17 thunder, 88 4 cyl would bring their thunders back out and not get 4 cyls if they had this option.  Its not a big deal, just a sign up sheet and a new name for it.

Hey Charlie it seem nothing gets fed up racers bitten by the bug again like selling their trailer first.  LoL. Always sell the trailer last people.

I still don't like the idea of yet another class. I truly believe the answer is some give and take with the class we already. This is not going to be the popular solution but should be the best in the long run. It works for the dirt guys and I think that's the model we need to follow.

Selling the trailer made life easier.........I can always get another, but if I get the buck for the car ill sell it, other wise it will sit till I can afford to make it right.  The car and I are better then we are showing.  And if that happens it wont be a 4,000 dollor steal either  ;D

I never post here anymore because I get too much flak. So here goes...
What we need is new blood like John Mitchell... I offered some help to those guys.
Charlie your trailer went to a good place and again I want you to come out and help us out man, it's all about cycles... Sometimes we got the dough sometimes not.
I never gave up on Thunder Car, I just couldn't foot the bill.
Do I want a dumbed down TC? Nope. But I don't want a millionaires game either.
What we need is guys who will step up for this class and put a good five or six years in to get to the front. And the lineup is non existent.
